do you have any update for the Arabic software for motorola atrix. i have contract for three years and they told me when I bought it ,it is very easy to find app., which I didn’t found and that’s mean I have to keep this phone for three years. please help me to receive and send text message in arabic

Hi gawish,

Hope doing well.
Actually I’m implementing arabic keyboard for am application but not getting the complete idea of implementation.
Can u please help me out for this.
My application is to implement a notepad kind of application and storing data in database.But for keyboard features i tried the sample softkeyboard application to integrate with my application.As keyboard is not coming over app screen.

ur apps crash a lot and i v notice its probably related to the sms length

Did not work on Droid X. First it listed SMS messages and when I select on a message it crashes. Also, Arabic messages in the list had un-joined letters like:
ال س ل ام ع ل ي ك م
I’m a developer and would which to help.

Hi,

I tried your app on Android 2.1, the application shows the list of e-mails but the arabic caracters are in squares, it is only when I select a message that a popup shows the message in arabic caracters.

This is mainly a reader, not an sms managers, so one can not reply, can not delete or compose a new message.

It’s a good initiative though,

You can download the application from Android Market, but I don’t recommend using it on the newest mobiles, there are several applications that read Arabic SMS in a better way
