Oracle webcenter vs Oracle portal

After reading this article I determined that webcenter is the next that oracle gonna focus on.

Oracle Portal is a great product and all, but it’s based on Oracle Application Server, which you will have to buy a license for.

On the other hand webcenter is a framework that is Standard, and can be deployed on JBoss, Websphere, Bea and more…

However oracle’s tutorial in Webcenter is really poor and need a really big step to complete and be fully understandable.

So in the next blog posts I’m going to start some webcenter related topics.

Lets rock that Oracle framework!
